Back-blistered Big Mouth Weevil
Size about 10mm. This weevil had a shower and was still wet when photographed. It was hiding in some lettuce leaves freshly harvested from our garden. It shows the same two humps on its back, similar to what I call Blister Zombie Weevil (tentative Poropterus genus). The rest of the body is well structured and uniformly brown. Its mouth is huge, looks like it has some sort of an abscess out of which the elbowed antennae come. A quick attempt to identify it based on my limited expertise and resources came up with Leptopius. Always happy for guideance as to the correct or more correct identification.
