Black Hive Beetle
This animal is about 4mm in size. It was found foraging on the flower of our coriander. I think it it is Aethina concolor and I'll call it Black Hive Beetle based on its uniform (concolorous) black body. Its relative, the Small Hive Beetle is an invasive bee pest quite recently introduced from Africa. Obviously, the larvae cause damage in bee hives and make honey useless for human consumption and even for the bee's breeding purposes. I could not find any reference, that the public should report this species, but bee keepers might know or soon know this beetle
