Blue Wool Hair Beetle

Size 5mm. Found near mountain creek in habitat with a good amount of vegetation. The beetle is elongate, has thin legs. Elytra is shimmering blueish and is hairy. Thorax is narrower than abdomen, bent like a shield. Head long with large lateral eyes. Big mouth and chewing apparatus.
