Elephant Weevil
This is a large animal with about 10mm. It was sitting attached to a lemon that fell on the ground being heavily infested with a citrus gall wasp. The lemon is hard and totally hard. The Elephant weevil as usual trusted its camouflage and hardly moved. Frankly, I didn't have much time to photograph this fellow. I identified it based on http://www.brisbaneinsects.com which offered a 100% picture match. As always: "Don't quote a quote because it firstly it might be wrong and secondly, you might be quoted." At least I warn from quoting me or from regarding my webpage as an identification ressource.
