Gold-spotted Pintail Beetle
Size 6mm. Found in flowering wattle in numbers. Unfortunately, none of the many individuals held still or stayed in place and not partly obscured by the flower parts. There were many insects sharing those flowers that day and all seemed to get along quite nicely. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time and peace to photograph properly. The spots on this beetle were golden. It might be Mordella calopasa. I am confident it is in the Modellini group.
