Transverse Ladybird

Very common ladybird at the moment. Its population seems to have exploded without an obvious explanation and no visible food sources. Our garden is full of these big ladybirds (about 5mm). One followed me even into the house. I only just noticed that this bug was not represented yet, when I added another one.
