Red-collared Mirid Bug
Size about 6-7mm. This bug was found before. In order to keep them together, I named them. I did not try to identify it yet. It is certainly a sap sucking bug. It has a pointed, triangular head with huge red lateral eyes. The oculi on top of each side of the head are little, blood coloured shiny droplets. The antennae are long, but come in only three long baseball club shaped form. Shoulder is the widest, and about double of its neck, where wings attach. The wings are angular and black rimmed. The legs are long and thin, have lots of dark spots on the thigh. I named the species after the red collar between head and thorax that is followed by a black border. This feature is not visible in the first specimen. I will rename this species as soon as I find more specimens or a proper identification. There are similar species in this gallery. Red-eyed Seed Bug has hairy legs. In these specimens the eyes differ from Double-eyed Mirid Bug.
