Processionary Caterpillar Moth
Size about 50mm. Large caterpillar, found going down a tree along a silk lane. Later, I found an aggregation of several colleagues on the ground. I am glad I didn't step into it. I think they can cause quite nasty allergic reactions when disturbed. So, I was a bit scared to go too close. Taxonomically, you will not find the taxon Ochrogaster lunifer on GBIF. They do have what ALA shows as synonym, namely Teara contraria.
