Four-spotted Rutilia Fly

Size 15mm. Large fly that is shining blue. This species has four square-shaped spots on its abdomen. Although this is nicely expressed in its Latin name, http://www.brisbaneinsects.com.au calls it Golden Head Rutilia Fly III. The animal is not shy and seems to love exposed spots.
