Hunchback Lauxaniid Fly
A small fly species that looks like it is bent in the middle. Therefore I chose the English name to represent it. It still needs to be identified but it might take a long time. It is quite common and was found in various places. Update 23/11/2016: This species was found in 3 out of three different habitats checked. It is widely spread in Southeast Queensland based on this sample. It is a Steganopsis species, most probably S. melanogaster.
