S-shaped Nymphes Lacewing
This species is similar to the Blue Eye Lacewing, Nymphes myrmeleonides. It has a bent abdomen and the wing spot only shows the orange part, leave the white one out. ALA does mainly provide species representations provided by amateurs. Their mother organisation, CSIRO, is proudly hiding important species descriptions and representations behind paywalls. How much tax payer money went into the following article: http://www.publish.csiro.au/ZO/ZO9810707? Shame on CSIRO to hide a 30 year old article which might contain basic info for taxonomists, researchers and naturalists. To fight against forced theft of copyrighted material in the name of science is important to me. The theft and sneaky appropriation of species representation material seems to be originating in the same circles as is the fun practice of hiding taxpayer funded research and their own work. CSIRO can not be on both sides, the public support receiving and the science blocking side. Well, they could, but we need a governmental organisation that is truely interested in promoting non-commercial science.
