Angel Wasp
This is a small wasp. Only about 7-8mm in size. Fast moving. I named this species Angel Wasp because it hunted and tracked down a 1mm winged insect that I was photographing when I spotted it for the first time. The small insect I called Angel Fly until I manage to get a more educated identification. The names and even categories might change. This wasp species has a black, pustulose body surface that shimmers blueish. The rest of the body is orange/yellow. Quite frankly, based on the absolute targeted and efficient hunting I believe that there might be a long-term predator-prey relationship going. That wasp knew exactly where to find its prey and how to catch and kill it.
