Blueberry-eyed Braconid Wasp
It is only about 4mm. It was running on a lemon that obviously has some galls going on. I focussed my camera on the lemon part that seemed affected and sure enough this animal came and sat down in top of the spot. Only on the photo I can see tiny red dots that must have been the object of interest to the wasp. The animal looks like other braconid wasps I have documented before but must be different. It has huge, round lateral eyes that shimmer like a blueberry. On top of its orange head there is a dark pigmentation that hosts densely arranged oculi. The front one is the biggest and seems halfway on orange ground. From the two smalll oculi I can only see the left one also a bit elevated. Whole body is shiny orange but has tiny hair growth. Antennae are long. Strong legs, especially hind pair. Membrane wings overlapping at rest with veins dark or black. I don't think I saw a long ovipostor. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to light the animal's back properly and it vanished in the dark shade (which I lightened up a bit with non-selective postediting).
