Elderflower Chalcid Wasp
This is one of the smallest animal ever photographed by me. I checked out what I thought was a fly poo on an Elderflower leaf, probably 1mm in size. Through the lens, I noticed the iridescent colours. The animal is different to the Iridescent Blue Chalcid Wasp in my galleries in many ways, but could be a juvenile. The area between thorax and abdomen, colours are different. As usual, the animal was quite patient with me holding and moving the branch and other leaves. But it was not happy with the camera flash, jumped once or twice before leaving for good.
