Stylish Wasp
This wasp is quite small. I remember that, out in the garden, I said to myself that it is 3mm if I am measuring generously. It was very active, moving around on and mostly in between leaves. That is normally where small spiders and other insects are hiding. It could be a parasitic wasp, but the body shape points more to a streamlined predator. Its composite eyes are oval, the 3 oculi far back at its head otherwise on their usual place. Very slim waist. Thorax seems to have a pustulose upper side. Abdomen is beautifully formed, like a formula 1 car body. It could have been designed by Calatrava or some other star architect/industrial design hero. Frankly, I am so impressed that I am using a working name 'Stylish wasp' based on this feature. Please don't spread this name and let me know if you can identify this species properly.
