Yellow Brown Paper Wasp

Size about 11mm. Beautifully marked, small wasp. A solitary individual was found hiding from the wind on a leaf. It was bounced back and forth, but stayed motionless until I started trying to take photos (which was almost impossible). Update 12/2/2017: this species seems quite common since I found it in a different part of Brisbane in different habitat. Actually, I saved it from drowning in a swimming pool. Update 28/10/2017: Also found at home in Brisbane.
