Brown House Spider

Common Spider that is usually hiding somewhere under its fuzzy web. Queensland Museum calls this Spider Black House Spider in their wildlife guide. I follow the terminology of Arachne.org.au here since ALA is not available at the moment. Update 30/4/2017: I corrected a typo in the Latin name (which was inherited from http://www.brisbaneinsects.com.au, still there today). ALA calls it Grey House Spider, adding a third colour into the house.
