Double-banded Jumping Spider
This is a larger jumping spider, size about 9mm. I failed to identify it so far. It bears resemblance to Menemerus bivittatus, Cosmopolitan jumper, but I have not looked closer. The animal shows different behaviour, too. It failed or aborted an attack on a fungus gnat. The frontal view shows two very distinct white bands. Its legs are colourfully banded and very hairy, too. Hind eyes are very far inward. This gallery and the animal will most probably be moved or renamed at some stage.
