Lean Lynx Spider

One of the most dedicated parenting I have ever witnessed comes from this spider. It seems to take an eternity until their spiderlings hatch. One parent didn't leave the side of the nest for weeks and if I remember correctly it then deteriorated and was consumed by the new generation. I used to classify this spider as a Common Lynx Spider according to http://www.brisbaneinsects.com. It seems that http://www.arachne.org.au lists this species as Lean Lynx Spider, Oxyopes macilentus. However, recent pictures of this species represent Oxyopes quadrifasciatus.
