Northern Golden Orb Weaver

A large spider found in the Northern Territory, Australia. It was out in the bush. Actually, the photo one of the most important of my photos ever taken. The spider mainly surprises by its red palps. Update 20/7/2017: Found in Brisbane bushland. Very shiny and red. According to http://www.arachne.org.au the spider is occasionally found in Brisbane.
