Shiny Long-jawed Spider
Size about 40-50mm with extended legs. This species was found in numbers and different sizes along a creek under pine trees. Most of them were hiding on green plants (Echinops). They seem to build a fine web but normally hunt camouflaged along a leaf. Update 30/4/2017: I renamed this species into Tetragnatha nitens. While the genus is probably uncontested, there is uncertainty of the species. It is certainly not T. rubroventris which I had it as, previously.
