Side-rayed Wolf Spider
The vernacular name is made up by myself. I positively matched this species with http://www.arachne.org.au based on external features, mainly the white half-moon shaped marking on the side of its head-torso with three to four visible rays on dark ground on its side. Not even the author of this new taxon combination has made a picture of the similar A. melissae available. He points out that the type specimen is from Bowen or Brisbane, with a drawing of the it that matches. Since, I am not a taxonomist, please do your own research and don't rely on any information or name that I put out here. It only serves my own purpose of distinguishing and learning.
