Longfin Batfish

Longfin Batfish are probably quite hard to distinguish from other batfish. I think there is a lot of confusion with regards to representative pictures of this species. Frankly, I am not sure about this identification. I matched it to some pictures on ALA, some of which come quite close in resemblance. Batfishes change their looks over different life cycles quite dramatically. We often see batfish near structure, such as wrecks and they normally come in small groups.
