Red Bream
Large fish. It is commonly known as Australasian snapper. Obviously, the taxon has been revised. It seems to be a Red Bream which comes in different sizes and forms. So, I assume the public will never accept anything but the name that they already know. Highly priced fishing 'sports' species. Locally, younger adults I believe are called Squires. ALA and GBIF do not agree which taxon is valid Chrysophrys auratus or Pagrus auratus. Wikipedia follows GBIF (and I am caught in the middle).
