White-ear Scalyfin

Quite common fish. Wonder if I misidentified it since I am struggling to find proper picture representations, which is weird. The white ears are not very obvious at all in the animals I see. The animal is certainly not shy, not rare, and should belong to the most commonly photographed fishes.
