Kabeiro sp. 1
When I found this species I was puzzled. The rhinophores pointed me to classify it as Doto sp. 1. I was quite obvious that it didn't quite match Doto in terms of the body anatomy. Finally, some professionals (who know their business) addressed the Doto genus and separated it from a newly erected one, namely Kabeiro. Without consulting experts I dare to reclassify the four specimens that I found and collected in 2013. It shows the importance of Amateurs being able to legally collect and hopefully one day to share without being criminalised or depend on the lax interpretation of laws by relevant authorities. Unfortunately, I have no access to the orgininal document by Shipman/Gosliner (2015). I am not quite convinced that what I found is again something else. But as the MolluscaBase claims in line with Queensland Museum: Opisthobranch research has nothing new to offer that is exciting or important.
