Gymnodoris alba
With a certainty of 100% some of these animals are not Gynodoris alba. This species is a dump taxon for me which I will try to sort out at a later stage. Update 3/2/2017: I notice high traffic in this gallery. I also noticed that Harvard University managed to do the impossible, namely get their hands on a nudibranch from Queensland (Rainbow Beach). Please, share how other researchers from abroad need to tackle that mission impossible. How can they do so, legally? Science is struggling enough, especially in the USA and there is no need to keep monopolising access to molecular data for Queensland and Australian nudibranch specimens. My Rajah collection data are not tidied up and I can't rename species here without tackling that task at the same time. There are many more species hiding in this taxon. Many more photos are all tagged but not shared. It may be frivolous to share the published samples. Hence a reminder: please don't use this as a taxonomic reference, even in the absence of the existence of such. Group your own records and SHARE (e.g. on ALA, GBIF, WoRMS, etc.)!
